More On: Friday The 13th: The Game

One of the most requested features that fans have wanted the Friday the 13th videogame to include is a single player mode and Gun Media and IllFonic have announced that the game will include just that.

No details about the single player have been released they also confirmed that AI bots, Tommy Jarvis and the Packanack Lodge will be included in the game as well. These were stretch goals that weren't met but they have said that they secured the additional funding in order to give the fans the content they demanded. More content however means that the game needs to be delayed from the Fall 2016 launch date to 2017.

Here is a new timeline for when content is expected to be released for the game

  • Late 2016: Beta release including 4 additional keys for friends
  • Early 2017: Multiplayer release with Tommy Jarvis and Packanack Lodge as the third playable map
  • Summer 2017: Single player release and AI Bots

Note: As of this press release all those who have already pre-ordered will receive single player for free when it releases. Price of the game henceforth for all new orders will increase from $30USD digital to $40USD digital, while physical will remain $60USD.

Friday the 13th: The Game will be released early 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
