Slain comes Back from Hell to hit PS4, Vita, and Xbox One

More On: Slain: Back from Hell

I can remember the first time that I saw a video for the PC action game Slain in motion; it was a modern day Castlevania and the sort of experience that I had been craving for a while. If only it was more than just a PC game. This was the sort of game that I needed on my console(s). Well, I won’t have to wait much longer for that dream to become a reality as Slain: Back from Hell has been announced for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Vita this Fall.

Slain is a 2D hack and slash adventure that is a bit of a mash up between the classic Castlevania games and Demon Souls. It’s hard. It’s gory. Plus it is a whole lot of fun. I have been chipping away at the PC version recently, so expect a review on the site very soon. And come next month, you will be able to pick it up for your favorite console. The game is scheduled to launch on Sony’s PS4 on September 13, 2015. Xbox One owners will get the game a few weeks later, on October 5. Those craving the ability to take the adventure on the go will have to wait just a tad longer as the Vita version of the game is coming, but the exact date has not been announced.
