Weekly downloadable Nintendo fun!

More On:
I know these weekly updates on Nintendo downloads make you all warm and fuzzy inside, so we are bringing you the updates yet again.

This week’s lineup is particularly exciting for me, as I am quite the Final Fantasy fan. You guessed it: Virtual Console will be getting the original NES Final Fantasy game. If you’re unfamiliar with the story, the basic gist is that four Light Warriors come at a time of darkness as the four orbs (representing earth, wind, fire, and water) have gone out.

You’ll find more desperation in storyline with Thorium Wars for the DSi. Partake in 12 missions against the deadly machines in either first or third person views.

Last, but not least, you can get your daily puzzle pleasure from Word Searcher on WiiWare. There are 100 themed word-search puzzles perfect for working those brain muscles. Get through more training and competition by tracking your times each round.

If you recall the DSi deal that I first reported on awhile back, hopefully you will also recall that today is the deadline. Purchase a new DSi before midnight tonight and you’ll get 1,000 bonus Nintendo DSi Points.
