After months of rumors, speculations, and leaks, EA has officially unveiled the third chapter in the Dead Space franchise, Dead Space 3. The game was shown today at EA’s press conference in LA.
Developed by Visceral Games, the new game will have players crash landing on the frozen planet of Tau Volantis. Isaac Clarke is once again at the helm of the adventure and must battle sub-zero conditions in addition to deadly Necromorphs. Dead Space 3 will also introduce cooperative play into the series in the form of drop-in / drop-out coop.
The game is being targeted for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in February 2013. You can check out the reveal trailer for the game below:
