"DEAD TO RIGHTS(R): RECKONING" GOES GOLD

Next Installment in Series Delivers Intense Action on the PSP With New Moves, Wireless Multiplayer

SANTA CLARA, Calif., (June 14, 2005) – Leading video games developer and publisher Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that "Dead to Rights(R): Reckoning" has gone gold. A brand new adventure created exclusively for the PSP(TM) portable entertainment system, "Dead to Rights: Reckoning" features a new selection of hard-hitting moves and disarms, an original storyline and wireless multiplayer action for up to four players. "Dead to Rights: Reckoning" will be launching on June 28 and is rated M for Mature by the ESRB.

"Dead to Rights: Reckoning" finds tough cop Jack Slate and his canine counterpart, Shadow, once again thrust into Grant City's web of crime and deception. Tracking down an important informant who has been kidnapped by a major crime lord, Jack makes his way through the City's toughest neighborhoods. Using the series’ trademark blend of film noir and cinematic style action, Jack teaches lowlife criminals a lesson they will never forget as he fights to complete his mission. In addition to the franchise’s classic moves such as slow motion dives, dual wielding and bone shattering disarms, Jack can now engage in fire fights from a prone position and engage enemies using the brutal dive tackle disarm. For the first time in the "Dead to Rights" series, players can utilize the wireless capabilities of the PSP system to engage in multiplayer deathmatches for up to four players.

"'Dead to Rights: Reckoning' sets a new precedent for explosive action on the PSP system with original moves and wireless gameplay that lets adrenaline-junkies enjoy hard-boiled shootouts with their friends," said Pierre Roux, executive producer with Namco Hometek Inc. "The 'Dead to Rights' series has always been about larger-than-life action, and now fans can experience this all-new action thriller anywhere with the PSP system.”
