FANTASY FLIGHT GAMES TO RELEASE WORLD OF WARCRAFT® BOARD GAME

Fantasy Flight Games [FFG] today announced that it has partnered with Blizzard Entertainment® to release a board game based on the critically acclaimed massively multiplayer game, World of Warcraft®, in the Fall of 2005.

Blizzard Entertainment's online role-playing game, World of Warcraft®, was released to both popular and critical acclaim in November 2004. Hundreds of thousands of players visit the online fantasy world of Azeroth daily, where they assume the roles of heroes from two warring factions known as the Alliance and the Horde. While traversing the vast world, players face challenging dangers, battle rivals of the opposing faction, and venture on perilous quests to gain levels and power.

FFG's CEO Christian T. Petersen commented, "FFG is very excited and honored to be adapting this seminal software game creation into a quality, fun, and exciting board game. Blizzard Entertainment has created some of the most powerful brands in software gaming, and we are pleased to be working with their dynamic team in bringing World of Warcraft to the tabletop audience."

"Fantasy Flight Games has proven to be an excellent partner and we are very pleased to be working with them again,” stated Paul Sams, Senior Vice-President of Business Operations at Blizzard Entertainment. "FFG's first adaptation of one of our games, Warcraft® the Board Game, was a fun and innovative title, and we're confident that the upcoming World of Warcraft® board game will be every bit as good as its online counterpart."

The World of Warcraf® board game will be an epic-sized production with gorgeous components, including
over 200 figures based on more than 25 different sculpts.
