Remember how we had instrument problems with Sony releases of
Guitar Hero III and
Rock Band? Well the Director of Public Relations at Sony has
posted on the Sony blog telling us that instruments for
Rock Band 2,
Rock Revolution and
Guitar Hero World Tour will all have a basic compatibility with each other. Now, there will probably some things that are specific with to their respective game that won't be available if using an instrument from another game but it's good to know that you'll be able to play the all the games in some fashion with one set of instruments from one game. Now, we await to see a response from someone at Microsoft on this but let's hope it's true for that system as well.
