After being rumored for the better part of the past year, Nintendo has finally unveiled (officially) the Nintendo Wiimote Plus
. The new and improved Wiimote controller integrates the Wii MotionPlus technology into the standard controller, eliminating the need for an add-on device. The new controller, despite including the new technology, results in the same sized controller as the original Wiimote.
Nintendo has only announced a release date for Japan at this time. The Wiimote Plus
is launching over there on November 11, 2010. Nintendo is releasing the controller in five separate colors: white, black, blue, pink, and red. There will also be new nunchucks released at the same time in the same color varieties. You can check out a few pictures of the device from Nintendo of Japan’s website
