Madden 25 is one of the titles that will join the Xbox One when it makes its debut in stores this November. The game was confirmed for the platform today, along with the PS4 version, and promised to be available at launch.
Adrian Peterson was also named the cover star for the next generation versions of the game. It is interesting to see EA launching different covers for the various platforms as it is not something that they usually do. You can get your first glimpse at the official cover for the game below and read the rest of the details in the press release on the next page.

Popcap has more than just PvZ2 in the world for the undead gardening world, but also a third-person action game set in the world called Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. The game is modeled heavily on the Modern Warfare series, with level intros and design. Player select one of the many, lovable plants from the series and control them directly on the battlefield. The different plant types operate as different character classes, with cactus plants being snipers and sunflowers acting as healers, among others. While they are engaging enemies directly, they can also plant a variety of plants around the battlefield in order to assist them.
The game reminds me a bit of Sanctum in terms of blending the FPs and tower defense genres, only this time with the unmatched charm of the PvZ universe. The game will launch first on the Xbox One and later on the 360. It looks incredibly fresh and fun.

Microsoft kicked off their E3 press conference with the world’s first look at
Metal Gear Solid V in all of its glory. the new game will adopt a gorgeous, open world setting and redefine the series. Snake is shown surveying the vast world on horseback and behind the wheel of a variety of vehicles.
The game will feature a variety of new mechanics including real-time weather effects, true tactical espionage inspired gameplay including scouting and surveying, and a real time clock that drives the action. I have never been a huge fan of the series up until this point, but I am finding myself incredibly curious about the game.

The official trailer for
Sunset Overdrive has been released online. I have to admit, this looks like a lot of fun.
Set in the near future, a catastrophic event has left your community overrun by mutants. You, however, were not affected and will flourish as you set out to destroy these savage beasts in gruesome ways. it is a very exagerrated, comedic looking world, meaning that the lightheartedness of the action should be right in line with what Insomniac does best.
In traditional, Insomniac fashion, the weapons looks to be the star(s) of the show as you can see guns that shoot vinyl records and energy drinks that power nuclear-esque explosions. This could be a sleeper hit if it plays as well as it looks.

Microsoft has released the teaser trailer for the next
Halo game shown during the press conference earlier this afternoon. Don’t be fooled by the way things start out, this isn’t Journey 2.
The trailer reminds me a bit of the original Halo 4 reveal trailer, with chief stepping up to a ledge and awakening what became one of the game's bosses. I am very confused as to why he is donning robes to hide his identity as well. 343 has definitely raised lots of questions in the minds of gamers with this reveal. Perhaps the biggest question of all: why isn’t this being called Halo 5?

As i mentioned earlier, the new installment of
Killer Instinct was shown in trailer form at Microsoft’s press conference. Aside from highlighting three fan favorite characters from the franchise, all with updated looks, there wasn’t any information given on the title. Pretty much all that we know is that the game is an Xbox One exclusive title.
I am a little shocked that Microsoft didn’t spend more time on the announcement of the game as it received what was arguably one of the best (if not the best) ovation of their entire presentation. The game looks incredibly solid at this point and I cannot wait to find out more about the title. It is also a little interesting that it wasn't called "Killer Instinct 3"; perhaps this is a reboot to the franchise akin to what NetherRealm did with Mortal Kombat.
You can check out the footage that I am speaking of below:

Twitch has released some specific details regarding their new partnership with Microsoft to integrate streaming functionality into the Xbox One console.
The Twitch streaming service will be built into the console from the start and allow gamers to both broadcast their gameplay session as well as provide live commentary and extensive interaction with viewers. In order to utilize the Twitch capabilities players will need and Xbox Live Gold account. In addition to streaming broadcasts, players will also have the ability to browse and view other streams being offered on the service directly in their living room. Hopefully the Xbox One interface will give you more flexibility than the current Xbox 360 offering which only allows you to browse a select number of streams rather than having full access to everything available on the service.
The official press release regarding the partnership can be found on the next page.

Respawn Entertainment hasn’t been sitting on their hands all of this time, they have in fact been working. They have been working on a futuristic FPS called
Titanfall and it will be exclusive to the Xbox One.
For those who don’t know, Respawn is the studio that rose out of the collapse of Infinity Ward a few years back. Although Infinity Ward still exists under Activision, many of the heavy hitters from the team moved on to form this new studio. This will be their inaugural game. Titanfall is an entirely multiplayer experience that combines fast-paced action with amazing set pieces. Set in a distant frontier torn apart by war, players will be able to switch between a variety of player classes and vehicles (mechs).

343 Studios let it be known that they are hard at work at a new Halo game for the Xbox One. The game, which was shown in announcement-trailer form, is simply being called the next chapter and the title “Halo 5“ seemed to be specifically avoided. Master Chief was shown wearing a robes to conceal his identity, really altering his usual “here I am”way of carrying himself.

It is official, the Xbox One will be available in 21 markets beginning this coming November. The exact date of the system’s release wasn’t announced, however a price point was. The system was announced as having a single sku clocking in at $499.99. I would assume that includes the console, Kinect 2.0, and a controller.
What do you think? Is that too much for you to throw down for a new console this year?

As rumored for some time, it has been confirmed that Ryse has in fact made the jump to the Xbox One and will be one of the marquee launch titles for the system later this year. The game was shown off on stage during Microsoft’s press conference and is playable at the show.
The gameplay demonstration that was shown on stage looked admirably, much like a more realistic version of God of War. There seems to be a heavy emphasis on quicktime events during battle which may turn off a lot of players. Then again, what we saw could have been an early in-game tutorial that shows off how the battle mechanics work; we’ll know more once our staffers get their hands on the title at the show.

There is a heavy combination of gunplay and platforming, rivaling something similar to Mirror’s Edge. the action looks very fast-paced and frantic as well as incredibly stylized.
