Agony, a game that I like to call Hell Simulator (watch the launch trailer to see what I mean) from Madmind Studios, is now available. The title may have flown under the radar for you, if you haven't been keeping absolutely up-to-date on it, but that's also because it's had close to a two-month delay on it.
In Agony, players control a martyr who, with the help of a figure called the Red Goddess, attempt to escape from Hell. It looks gory, and it looks brutal. It looks...Hellish.
In addition to the story mode, the game includes "an open challenge system that randomly generates levels for players to explore and survive to gain new Highscores [sic]". So, after players are done escaping the Agony that Hell looks like, they'll be able to go back for more?
