Bethesda shows off the Vault-Tec Workshop, due out July 26th

What a nice birthday present for me. Bethesda live streamed some of the new features that's coming with the Vault-Tec Workshop and they announced a release date. July 26th, which is my birthday, will be when you can get your hands on the DLC and build your own Vault.

There is a quest involved with the workshop, but you get to see how the Vault construction is. It's similar to settlement construction, of course and should offer up some great new ways to play Fallout 4 with you being an Overseer. Vault pieces can also be used outside, so you're not limited to using them underground.

One of the most requested features is keeping track of your companions. Finally, you can set a quest marker on one of your companions and you'll be able to find them easily. This can be done with a terminal in the vault and the VIP Access area.

This will be the second to last DLC with Nuka World being the final one that will be released for Fallout 4. Before that though, enjoy constructing the Vault of your dreams.
