The NES Legend of Zelda has been recreated in 3D and it's amazing

The Legend of Zelda on the NES is arguably one of, if not the greatest game ever made and this year it will celebrate it's 30th anniversary. Nintendo most likely has some cool stuff planned for it but some fans of the original game decided to celebrate in their own way. If you head over to http://zelda30tribute.com/ you can play the original game in 3D. In the introduction we can see that the game was created by two people. "Scott", a man who teaches kids how to code and "Mike" a mobile game designer.

The game has been recreated in glorious 3D, much like the Firefox browser that emulates NES games in 3D. I played around for it a little bit and it's the same great Zelda you know and love but in 3D which actually kinda makes it a little more challenging. Since it's not from the top down perspective, and it's zoomed in, it's sometimes hard to see where enemies are coming from. Although there are probably people out there who have the entire map memorized and know exactly where every enemy and item is. Either way, it's incredible to see something like this done in this day and age.
