The Xbox One Elite Controller is somewhat of an enigma in gaming. It's a sexy controller with all sorts of little customization options that players want to enjoy, but let's face it: $60 for a new standard controller is already steep. Paying $150 is worse.
Best Buy has found a way to at least create some demand. Halo 5 Guardians is still selling pretty well, and a perfect way to get a great Christmas present has just been offered by the big box retailer. The company is offering a free copy of the FPS title with any purchase of an Elite Controller, essentially making the controller purchase just $90 instead of the full $150. We confirmed this by visiting Best Buy's website, seen in the link here.
Of course, this all hinges on whether or not you actually care about Halo 5. If you do, and you have interest in this controller, this is a pretty sweet deal. Otherwise, the Elite Controller will simply be a luxury item for gamers who have the extra cash.
