Hideo Kojima partners with Sony

More On:

It didn't take long for Hideo Kojima to pop up after leaving Konami. Yesterday, Sony announced that they are partnering with Kojima's new independent studio and Hideo will release a title exclusively for the PlayStation 4 as his next project.

Of course, no details were announced on what the project will be, but you can be sure it won't involve a character named Snake or some large robotic creations or Gears.

It's good to see Hideo again, but it's a little sad to see it will only come out for the PlayStation console. Hideo's last game, Metal Gear Solid V, was an incredible experience available to all who own a PC, PlayStation 4, or an Xbox One.

I'm excited to hear what his next game will be. While he's mostly known for the Metal Gear series, he has had his hand on other IPs as well such as Castlevania, Zone of Enders, and the failed Silent Hill re-make.
