World of Tanks PS4 beta goes live on December 4th

There's no denying how big World of Tanks has become since its launch over five years ago.  It's grown from PCs to consoles in that time and in around two weeks it'll be the PS4's turn to get in on the fun.  Wargaming has recently announced that World of Tanks for the PS4 will have a beta weekend coming up from December 4th through the 6th.  That same weekend Wargaming will be showcasing the game at the PlayStation Experience in San Francisco, CA at booth #1200.

Those who play during the beta weekend will get exclusive in-game items such as a PlayStation 20th anniversary exclusive M22 Locust US light tank with the original PlayStation grey color scheme.  There will also be pre-release bundles that will become available in the PlayStation Store that includes a free T1E6-PS US Premium light tank with exclusive camouflage and four Founder's Packs with special Premium tanks, but only for a limited time.

Wargaming announces Open Beta weekend and presence at PlayStation® Experience

November 19, 2015 ?? Wargaming today announced the free-to-play multiplayer game World of Tanks on PlayStation®4 will offer a three-day Open Beta, running December 4??6. The Open Beta coincides with the PlayStation® Experience weekend, taking place December 5 and 6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA. Event attendees can play World of Tanks on PlayStation®4 for the first time in North America at Wargaming booth #1200.

Exclusive in-game items await those taking part in the three day Beta event. All players who login during the Beta period will receive a PlayStation® 20th anniversary exclusive M22 Locust US light tank, adorned in a tribute PlayStation® grey color scheme honoring the original PlayStation® along with a special emblem. Pre-Release bundles will become available in the PlayStation®Store which include a free T1E6-PS US Premium light tank with exclusive camouflage and four Founder??s Packs with special Premium tanks available for a limited time.

World of Tanks on PlayStation®4 continues Wargaming??s multi-platform expansion by delivering an array of new features to the battlefield. The game will support key platform features including complete DUALSHOCK®4 functionality, Share Play and PlayStation®Vita Remote Play, along with optimized controls designed to elevate the handheld experience. Two limited time exclusive maps will also be making their PlayStation®4 debut during Beta: ??Ruinberg??, and ??Scorpion Pass??, the largest World of Tanks map to date.
