Wasteland 2: Director's Cut launching on Oct. 13

Publisher Deep Silver and developer inXile have announced that the remastered Wasteland 2: Director's Cut will be launching on October 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (also a free upgrade for previous owners). The most notable features of the director's cut include overhauled graphics, new character models and voice-overs, and optimized control scheme for consoles.

The graphical overhaul includes a more advanced lighting system, upgraded environmental models and textures, and higher quality character models. Audio upgrades range from new voice-overs for NPCs to better sounding weapons. Console players will also be happy to hear that the developers have completely remade the interface and control scheme to function properly on consoles.
