More On: Razer Seiren Pro

Razer has announced a new digital microphone with the Seiren Pro that has been designed for streamers and YouTube video creators. The new microphone condenser features XLR recording and a high-pass filter aimed at a variety of recording environments.

The included XLR cable enables the microphone to be plugged directly into various mixing boards and cameras, but also includes a USB connection for computers and such. The high-pass filter is designed to remove ambient noises ranging from hums and rumbles to traffic and wind. Razer Co-Founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan described the microphone:

With the success of YouTube, Twitch and the likes, there is a greater demand for high-fidelity recording equipment than ever before. Our second condenser microphone, the Razer Seiren Pro, delivers what video game streamers are looking for and provides great value to YouTubers, musicians and anyone looking to capture sound clearly.

Accessories are available for the microphone including a shock mount and pop filter to enable users to create a complete recording setup. The Razer Seiren Pro and additional accessories are available exclusively through the online Razer Store. The microphone will be available in May and retail for $249.99.
