Life Is Strange episode 2 "Out of Time" is out today

More On: Life is Strange

After being delayed a few weeks, episode 2 of Life Is Strange is finally available and hopefully it was worth the wait. The instant I finished the first episode, I immediately started that countdown clock, anxiously awaiting the second episode because I needed more of this game and I needed it immediately.

Anyways, here is the synopsis for episode 2.

Now reunited with her friend Chloe, Max starts to experiment with her power and begins to wonder if it is related to her visions or the weird snow from the day before. But life goes on in Blackwell Academy and a certain viral video has become a major topic of discussion. Meanwhile, what did happen to Rachel Amber? Life Is Strange Out of Time is part two of a five part series that sets out to revolutionise story based choice and consequence games.

If you realize enjoy games like Telltales The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Gone Home, or any narrative driven game, you really owe it to yourself to play Life Is Strange.

Yeah, I know the dialogue can be terrible at parts but I was easily able to overlook this. The first episode immediately hooked me in with it's incredible music, atmosphere and story. The entire episode was a gigantic emotional roller coaster for me. The best part of this game is that you truly have some incredibly difficult decisions to make and I truly feel like they all have an incredible impact on the rest of the story. Even though you are able to rewind time to see how each choice pans out, each of them feels like they carry a huge consequence with them and I often spent a great deal of time trying to decide what decision I wanted to go with.

I also got a little emotional playing this game as well. I grew up in a small town just like the kids in this town are growing up in. When Jose Gonzales started playing on the radio, I lost it because it immediately brought me back to my teenage years when I would listen to the same kind of music.

Episode 2 is available for $4.99 and there are various season passes available for the game as well. The first episode can be bought for $4.99 and if you want the whole game, you can buy the season pass that has episodes 2-5 for $16.99. Or you can buy all five for $19.99
