PES 2015 demo dated
We stand on the cusp of a new Barclays Premier League season. That sentence maybe means more to Americans than it ever has before thanks to NBC's phenomenal coverage of last season.
If EA's FIFA franchise is the Barclays Premier League of soccer videogames, then Konami's PES franchise is League 2 - aka, the fourth tier of English soccer.
Or maybe a kinder comparison is that PES is the Europa League to the FIFA's Champions League.
And now that Everton's Roberto Martinez had decided to throw caution to the wind and try and win the Europa League to secure a spot in the next season's Champions League, I've decided to get excited about the first PES title to appear on current-gen consoles.
It will be called PES 2015 and demo will hit the PSN and Xbox Live on September 17.
The full game will land on current and last-gen consoles, and PC on November 11.

KONAMI Invites Soccer Fans to Experience All-New On-Field Focus as PES 2015 Demo Heads to PlayStation®Network and Xbox LIVE®
El Segundo, CA ?? Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced today that it will release a free playable demo of its eagerly awaited PES 2015 title on September 17.
KONAMI goes into the new season with PES 2015 centered on the mantra of ??the pitch is ours.?? This focus sees the game faithfully recreating the heart-pumping and nail-biting tension of top-flight soccer through all-new control elements, including the most authentic close control system ever, new shooting and goal keeper routines, plus enhanced PES ID systems to recreate the playing styles of both individual players and their teams.
The free demo on PlayStation Network will also have a direct link to pre-order the title, which includes items to be used in the new myClub game mode.
PES 2015 will be released in the Americas for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and PC (Microsoft Windows) on November 11, 2014. The demo lets fans experience a pre-season session with the new control and content elements. The new game heralds the first appearance of the seminal series on the new wave of console hardware.
