More On: Hearts of Iron III Hearts of Iron IV

Paradox Interactive's in-house studio revealed 15 seconds' worth of gameplay for their upcoming grand strategy World War II 'em up, Hearts of Iron IV. Couched in archival WW2 footage—where there's, of course, a glimpse of the man that ruined the Charlie Chaplin mustache for everybody—there's an in-game recreation of Germany's three-pronged attack on Poland.

In case you haven't played a Paradox strategy game before, be advised: they're no joke. In Hearts of Iron, particularly, you don't have to just be one of the major players in the war. There are 150 countries to choose from, and over 10,000 land provinces spread across the map (that is, if it's anything like Hearts of Iron III; and Paradox isn't known for skimping features on sequels).

Hearts of Iron IV aims for a Q1 2015 launch date on PC.
