Teslagrad is also coming to Wii U

More On: Teslagrad
One thing that still gives me some hope in Nintendo is that they're really reaching out to indie developers. Rain Games appears to be one of those studios, as they just announced their upcoming platformer Teslagrad is also coming to Wii U. The Wii U version will launch alongside the PC, Max, Linux and PS3 versions this fall. The music and art direction on this game are brilliant and I'm glad it's getting a shot at so many different platforms. Just check out that trailer. Beautiful.

As AAA budgets continue to bloat out of control, I think it's becoming obvious that indie gaming is where the real creativity and fresh ideas are. Microsoft may have backpedaled all the toxic DRM in Xbox One, but supposedly they're still notoriously difficult to work with if you happen to be an indie studio. Microsoft will have to change this perception, or they'll be left behind by the burgeoning indie scene and Sony and Nintendo will snap up all the promising new developers.

Rain Games teslamancer team is happy to announce that our beloved Teslagrad is now heading to the Wii U. This new version for our game joins the already announced releases, which will be available this fall (Q4 2013); PC Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Playstation®3. Teslagrad will be available on Nintendo's eShop simultaneously with the other scheduled versions.  YAY!!
