It looks like Take Two has locked up Rockstar and the Houser Brothers through 2012 according to this
report from Gamasutra. This is a fairly big deal as Rockstar's contract was up this year and there were a lot of rumors that the studio could bolt for greener pastures when their contract expired next year.. The deal locks the team up through 2012 and it looks like Rockstar is going to be getting a bigger share of their profits and a little more creative freedom to do their own thing. For Take Two it means their cash cow stays in their field and helps strengthen their game portfolio.
