Spore sells one million, despite piracy and protests

Tallying up sales since September 7th, EA reported on Wednesday, September 24, that retail had sold through one million copies of Will Wright's Spore.  Despite the silly "protest" on Amazon.com.  And despite the endless "It wasn't what we expected" addenda tacked onto several reviews (a view, incidentally, that GamingNexus didn't resign to).  While the rewards aren't monetarily and immediately apparent, you're a better person for it if you put down your hard-earned cash to play Spore -- rather than turn into a sad, little pirate lurking around the bit torrents.
