SSF4 3DS: New info and screens

More On: Super Street Fighter 4
Capcom is starting to come clean with all of the dirt on their upcoming Nintendo 3DS fighter, Super Street Fighter IV 3DS. In an interview with the Japanese gaming publication Famitsu, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono assured gamers that even though the game will depict 3-dimensional images, the game will not play like a 3D fighter. The 3D portion of the game is simply a visual effect; the game will maintain all of the same gameplay elements and features that we have grown to love on the original, console ports.

Ono did state that there may be some new features added to the game, such as a touch-oriented control scheme. Such an addition won’t be added to replace the standard controls though, just in addition to them. The 3DS version of the game is scheduled to be a full port of the console version of the game, featuring all 35 fighters on the roster.

In order to promote the game, Capcom has launched an official Japanese website for the game, found here. There isn’t a ton of information given through the site, but there is a slew of official screenshots which give us the best look at the game yet. You can check out all of the screens of the game below:
