Most of the time EA Sports titles cross many platforms, and such is the case with Fight Night Round 3. Coming to PS3 this December, it should have all the features of the other versions with a few extras thrown in for the 599 US Dollars club. Several good ideas are being implemented into the PS3 build and it looks like this version will be a hot exclusive this holiday. I just wonder why the multiplayer is splitscreen, not online.
The best-selling next-generation sports game on Xbox 360 gets a face lift this holiday season!
EA SPORTS Fight Night Round 3 for the PlayStation 3 will be shipping on December 12 to retail stores nationwide. Featuring exclusive content including a comprehensive ESPN Integration package, film-quality graphics and a new first person mode called Get in the Ring, the PlayStation 3 version continues to innovate on the hit franchise.
Get in the Ring mode allows gamers to experience the fight through the eyes of the boxer from the moment they step into the ring until someone is KO’d. The unique first person view can be played on or offline, throughout the career mode or in single bouts. For the first time ever, gamers will truly experience the sensation of the sport with different visual and audio effects occurring throughout the fight such as ear ringing, restricted vision, flashes of bright light, color shifts and blur effects that simulate the sense and feeling of getting punched.
