I've never had a laptop with a NVIDIA chipset but that's just because of cost. I'm not much into gaming with the mobile platform but if I were to get a laptop for gaming I'd probably choose NVIDIA. Well, Fudzilla's got word
that the next mobile chipset coming from NVIDIA that's going to be manufactured on the 40nm process will be using GDDR5 memory and support DirectX 10.1. Kind of interesting that a mobile chipset would have these features when the full sized cards aren't there yet. But, who knows what order the cards will come in so we might see the desktop cards come out first with the features implemented.
