It has been quite some time since the Mario Kart series added some actual new characters to its roster. That drought is about to come to an end as at least 4 new characters have been announced for the upcoming 3DS iteration of Mario Kart 7.
It was recently revealed that Wiggler, Honey Queen, Metal Mario, and Lakitu will be joining the ranks of selectable drivers in the new game. The characters are revealed in the latest issue of Nintendo Power which is hitting the news stands as we speak.
