From June 8th - 10th, Major League Gaming
will be introducing League of Legends
to the Spring Championship in Anaheim, CA. and will feature it throughout the remainder of the 2012 Pro Circuit. At the Spring Championship, players will compete for a share of $40,000 in prizes. MLG
will be inviting eight teams, and an additional twelve will have the chance to sign up online beginning this Monday at 7pm ET.
Major League Gaming Announces League of Legends to Join 2012 MLG Pro Circuit
Game to Debut at MLG Spring Championship in Anaheim, CA, June 8-10
April 27, 2012—Major League Gaming (MLG), the world’s largest competitive video game league, and Riot Games, have announced that League of Legends will be featured during the remainder of the 2012 Pro Circuit beginning with the MLG Spring Championship at the Anaheim Convention Center June 8-10. At the Spring Championship, players will compete for a share of $40,000 in prizes. MLG will invite eight teams and 12 additional teams will have the opportunity to sign up online beginning Monday, April 30 at 7pm ET. Spectator passes are now available online at www.majorleaguegaming.com.
For those that can’t make it to Anaheim, matches will be broadcast LIVE via HD streaming online at www.majorleaguegaming.com. Additional details about the tournament structure, broadcast details and more will be released in the coming weeks.
