Next Gen is
reporting that Austrian publisher JoWood has purchased DreamCatcher Interactive (and I'm assuming The Adventure Company as well). While DreamCatcher is best known for the most excellent Painkiller series they've also produced a number of solid adventure games for the PC. According to the article JoWood is going to use DreamCatcher as a way to better access the North American market. Hopefully this is one of those "Hey, this is a good way for us to work" buyouts rather than one of the "Hey, this is a good idea...let's fire everybody at the company we just bought" kind of mergers.
