Heroes & Heralds is now available

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has an all new mode as of today. Just as Capcom promised, the free Heroes & Heralds mode is now available on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at no additional charge.

The new mode can be played both online and off. Players are now challenged with collecting a variety of ability cards, all based on classic characters from the Capcom and Marvel universes. There are over a hundred cards to collect and their effects range from speeding up your characters to adding invisibility and power ups.

The best part about it is that the entire thing is FREE! No additional costs are required for this new mode, so what are you waiting for? I spent a little bit of time trying out the mode last night and can definitely day that it adds quite a bit of variety to the game. I hope to have a full in depth write up on the mode some time next week.
