PC Gamer Magazine Proclaims: “Empire Earth II is the New King of Real-Time Strategy Gaming.”

LOS ANGELES (April 26, 2005) – Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) announced today that the real-time strategy game Empire Earth® II has shipped to retail stores in the US and will be available for purchase by Thursday, April 28th. The game carries a suggested retail prices of $49.99 for the PC and has been rated “T” for Teen audiences by the ESRB.

Empire Earth II has already received critical praise from gaming publications. PC Gamer Magazine gave the game a 94% score and “Editor’s Choice” award in their review, declaring that “Empire Earth II is the new king of real-time strategy gaming.” IGN.com states, “This is truly an epic game on all levels” in their review, adding “Empire Earth II is a deep and satisfying real-time strategy game.” In addition, Warcry.com asserts, “if you’re going to play one RTS game this year, play this one.”
