EA Sports has announced today that Barclay's Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur will join Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Fulham, Newcastle, and Manchester City in becoming "official partners" with the publisher.
As the BPL gains popularity here in the United States, Spurs, as they're known, will be able expand their relationship with their fans both in the States and the rest of the world. It also means that a special Tottenham Hotspur
FIFA 13
sleeve will be downloadable from their website,
www.tottenhamhotspur.com
.
Honestly, as far as I can tell, this is more a corporate synergy type deal than anything that will dramatic impact fans of either the club or the
FIFA
franchise besides more detailed 3D renders of Spurs players for future
FIFA
games, exclusive videos, the prediction of Spurs matches using the
FIFA
engine and the like.
Oh, and also, the EA Sports trailer will be at Spurs home games so fans can play EA Sports titles.
Visit
FIFA 13
on
Facebook
and
Twitter
. The game hits stores on September 11.
