Last month, Microsoft's free
My Xbox Live app added Xbox Companion remote control functionality for the iPhone, and now that has been extended over to the iPad. Granted according to the
original article the app has always worked with the iPad, Xbox Companion support hadn't made it over until now. However, now you can use your iPad as basically a giant Xbox 360 controller to launch games, videos, and navigate the dashboard. It doesn't look too bad in the article, but I've never been fond of using a touch screen D-pad. Then again, it's not like you're using this to actually play games as far as I'm aware, but could you imagine using something like this to play Skyrim or Call of Duty?
