City Interactive licenses Unreal Engine 3 for upcoming FPS game

City Interactive is working on a new FPS game that will be released in 2011 and today they announced they have licenses Epic's Unreal Engine 3 for the game.

It seems like the UE3 engine has become the new defacto standard for the industry as you can't throw a rock in a game store without hitting two or three titles that use the engine.  We'll post more news about the upcoming game as it becomes available.

EPIC GAMES’ UNREAL ENGINE 3



WARSAW, POLAND/NEW YORK, NY, December 7, 2010 – City Interactive, a fast-growing international publisher and developer of interactive entertainment, today announced that it has licensed the state-of-the-art Unreal Engine 3 from Epic Games to develop a new, untitled first-person shooter (FPS) game scheduled for 2011.
