Yesterday was Press Day at the 2012 CES, and as expected, it was an absolute madhouse. Lines for press conferences were so long that if you didn’t arrive by at least an hour ahead of time, you weren’t getting in. Also, the stars were trotted out, as Ryan Seacrest made an appearance with Steve Ballmer at Microsoft and Sir Howard Stringer trotted out both Will Smith (to promote Men in Black III) and Sony label artist Kelly Clarkson (more on this later.)
Today is Day one of the show, and we have a full schedule amongst Ben, Sean and I. Ben is planning on hitting Diamond Multimedia, Road Mice, Archos, Entropic & Onlive amongst others. Sean and I will be visiting with Samsung, Samsung Computing, Vivitek, Optoma, Vizio, NYKO, Hercules/Thrustmaster, Ion Audio, iFrogz, ROCCAT Gaming and Turtle Beach. All of us will be wrapping up our evening with Showstoppers followed by PC case manufacture NZXT and their Back to the Geek Party.
Check back for updates from all of these companies and more over the next week or so.
