Shooters with gravity manipulation as their hooks haven't really been down before. In fact, aside from last-gen's insane-a-thon,
Armed and Dangerous (which had a weapon that turned the world upside down, dumping all the enemies into the air), I don't think it's ever been done before. That alone makes
Inversion a promising title, because otherwise it just looks like another cover based co-op shooter. This trailer gives some insight into what main character Davis Russel is fighting for and it also show a lot of grav-manipulation induced chaos, oh, and it also shows lots of blood.
Inversion hits stores on February 7, 2012 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
