Botanicula digital and vinyl soundtracks announced

Amanita Design and Minority Records will be delivering the Botanicula soundtrack in a limited run of 1000 12" LP vinyl records, as well a digital version. The 1000 records will be split into 300 turquoise vinyl, 300 on amber vinyl, and 400 on standard black. In addition, each of the vinyl records will include three large format inserts with game art by Jaromír Plachý and a coupon for a digital download of the album. Eager fans can pre-order the album from Minority Records website with a shipping date of May 24.

The Botanicula soundtrack digital version will also be available on May 24 from an assortment of music distribution services including iTunes, Boomkat, Rhapsody, Spotify, Google Music, and others. Botanicula is available now in the Humble Bundle until May 3.

The cooperation between Minority Records and Amanita Design goes on! This time by releasing Botanicula Soundtrack.

Botanicula Soundtrack is released on 12"LP in edition of 1000 copies, whilst 300 copies are on turquoise vinyl, 300 copies on amber vinyl and 400 copies on standard black. Each copy features three large format inserts [30x30 cm] with art reproductions by Jaromír Plachý, author of the game artwork, and as always, a coupon with a code to download MP3/FLAC versions of the album.

Preorder of the vinyl is available on Minority Records website and album ships May 24th. Digital version of the album in both MP3 and FLAC formats will be released on May 24th via Minority Records and other distribution channels like iTunes, Boomkat, Rhapsody, Spotify, Google Music etc.

DVA released their debut album Fonók (Indies Scope Records, 2008), that gained attention of music critics abroad. BBC’s front music critic, Charlie Gillett, ranked this album among the best albums of 2009, Fonók which contains fourteen compositions reached #34 in the respected WCME charts. In March 2012 DVA played live at SXSW festival in Texas and in addition to this, won the 14th annual awards in 'Excellence in Audio' at Independent Games Festival for soundtrack to computer game Botanicula.
