Add Splinter Cell to the list of HD remake / compilations

IGN has confirmed what many sites have rumored over the past week: Ubisoft will be releasing a Splinter Cell Trilogy package for the PlayStation 3 in 2011. The package will be a three game compilation featuring the original Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, and Chaos Theory remastered in full 720P high definition and added PSN trophy support.
Hopefully this announcement lends a little bit of possibility to the PS3 getting an eventual port of the recent Splinter Cell Conviction... that is the game that (we) PlayStation 3 owners really want. Perhaps that announcement will come in the new year...
