Gaming Nexus was started in 1997 to provide web readers with high quality game reviews and news. We were away for a short time as we merged with a few companies but now we're back in full force. Based out of Columbus, Ohio Gaming Nexus looks to bring you great coverage on PC and console games and hardware.

We now have a weekly radio show on a local station in Columbus. You can listen to it live every Tuesday morning at 7:45 AM EST on CD101.

The site is designed and developed by owner, John Yan. Some technologies used for the site are AJAX, persistance framework, ASP.NET, and CSS.

Randy Kalista - Staff Writer - My Articles
After two-and-a-half solid decades, it's safe to say that video games are no longer a "hobby" for Randy -- they're a bona fide lifestyle. He too emerged from the land of VIC-20s and Commodore 64s, and he too acknowledges their rightful place as today's forebears, but he feels that games are only getting better and better with each generation.

Considering their parallels to board games, Randy harbors a soft spot for strategy titles and sim-builders, but he also holds a hefty appreciation for story-centric action adventures. When he finally detaches from gaming each day, he reads post-modernist fiction, memoirs, and Beat poetry.
